Awais welcomes Ban ki-Moon statement regarding Kashmir issue

ISLAMABAD, Aug 21 (APP): Chairman Standing Committee for Foreign Affairs, Awais Ahmad Khan Laghari Sunday welcomed United Nation (UN) Secretary General Ban ki-Moon statement for offering to facilitate talks between Pakistan and India for resolving outstanding Kashmir issue.
Talking to PTV, he said Pakistan always support Kashmiris basic right to self determination. Pakistan’s moral, political and diplomatic support are with Kashmiri people.
He said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has highlighted Kashmir issue at international forums including United Nations (UN).
Awais Laghari strongly condemned Indian atrocities and barbarism on innocent Kashmir people. International community should take notice of human rights abuses in Indian held Kashmir.
He alleged that international community are deaf and dam regarding Indian use of brutal force and violence on Kashmiris.
He said Kashmir issue should be resolved as per aspirations of Kashmiri people.
The Chairman said Indian opposition parties were stated that Modi’s government was involved in barbarism on innocent Kashmir people.
He said that Kashmir freedom movement has taken over by new Kashmir generation after killing of freedom fighter Barhan Wani.
Awais Laghari vehemently condemned Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statements regarding Pakistan.
