ISLAMABAD, Jan 22 (APP): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has congratulated the newly elected office bearers of the Press Association of the Supreme Court and expressed best wishes for their tenure.
In his statement, the Minister congratulated President Imran Waseem, Vice President Abrar Astori, General Secretary Amanat Raza Gishkori, Finance Secretary Abid Nisar, Information Secretary Sehrish Khan, and members of the executive body Zahid Sharif, Rauf Bazmi, and Sabeen Shahbaz.
The Minister termed Press Association of the Supreme Court as vital and prestigious journalistic forum.
He said the Press Association of the Supreme Court is playing a vital role in promoting professional values, responsible journalism, and the supremacy of the constitution and law in judicial reporting.
Attaullah Tarar expressed the hope that the newly elected leadership would play a crucial role in the welfare of the journalist community and the protection of professional rights.
The Minister extended his good wishes to the newly elected office-bearers.
He said the government will continue to provide full cooperation for the freedom of journalists, their protection, and the resolution of their issues.
