ATC seeks arguments on plea to cross-examine medical board in November 26 protest case

ISLAMABAD, Jul 16 (APP):An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Thursday issued notices to the parties and sought arguments on an application filed by accused Hashim Abbasi seeking permission to cross-examine the medical board in a case related to the alleged killing of Rangers personnel during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest on November 26.
ATC Judge, Tahir Abbas Sipra heard the matter after the accused moved the application requesting the court to allow
cross-examination of the medical board.
The court issued notices to the parties and directed them to present arguments at the next hearing. It also summoned prosecution witnesses for the upcoming proceedings. The hearing was adjourned until July 20.
So far, statements of five prosecution witnesses have been recorded in the case, which was registered against the accused at Ramna Police Station.
