ATC rejects PTI Lawyers’ plea to remove ATA sections in Khawar Maneka Torture Case

An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Thursday rejected the applications filed by PTI lawyers seeking the removal of terrorism provisions in a case pertaining to the torture of Khawer Maneka.

ISLAMABAD, Jun 11 (APP): An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Thursday rejected the applications filed by PTI lawyers seeking the removal of terrorism provisions in a case pertaining to the torture of Khawer Maneka.
Judge Tahir Abbas Supra heard the case. The court dismissed the applications filed by PTI lawyers Naeem Haider Panjotha, Fathullah Barki, and others seeking the deletion of anti-terrorism charges.
The court adjourned further hearing of the case until July 6.
A case has been registered against the PTI lawyers at Ramna Police Station.
