ATC extends interim bail of PTI leaders, workers in Jinnah House attack case
LAHORE, Jul 10 (APP):An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday extended the interim pre-arrest bail of MPA Ali Imtiaz Warraich and several other Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders and workers until August 18 in the May 9 Jinnah House attack case.
ATC Judge Manzer Ali Gill passed the order after the prosecution sought additional time to produce the case record. The court directed the prosecution to submit the record at the next hearing and instructed defence counsel to conclude their arguments on the bail petitions.
Ali Imtiaz Warraich, Owais Younis and other PTI workers appeared before the court to attend the proceedings.
The interim pre-arrest bail petitions have also been filed by PTI women leaders Syeda Fatima and Rukhsana Naveed, as well as PTI workers Kamran Saleem, Hasnain Ali, Taqi Khan, Adnan Ali, Farman-ur-Rehman and Ammar Nadeem.
