An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday extended the interim pre-arrest bail of PTI founder’s sisters, Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, until April 16 in a case related to the October 5 protest and alleged police assault.

LAHORE, Mar 13 (APP): An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday extended the interim pre-arrest bail of PTI founder’s sisters, Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, until April 16 in a case related to the October 5 protest and alleged police assault.
Duty Judge Arshad Javed presided over the hearing. The sisters did not appear in court as their previous interim bail had expired. Their lawyers requested a one-day exemption, citing their presence in court in Islamabad. The court approved the exemption and extended their bail until April 16.
The court also directed both parties to submit complete arguments on the bail applications at the next hearing.
According to the prosecution, a case has been registered against Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan at Shafiqabad Police Station, alleging that they incited PTI workers to assault police officials during the October 5 protest.
