ISLAMABAD, Oct 05 (APP): An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday ordered the production of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) founder in the Judicial Complex attack case and declared former ministers Farukh Habib, Hammad Azhar, Murad Saeed and Shibli Faraz as absconders.
Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra issued the directives during the previous hearing, where the PTI founder was not produced before the court.
The court directed that the PTI founder be produced at the next hearing, either in person or via video link.
The court declared former ministers Farukh Habib, Hammad Azhar, Murad Saeed and Shibli Faraz as absconders and sought details of their properties.
The court also issued non-bailable arrest warrants for former Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Wasiq Qayyum and PTI Member Provincial Assembly, Hassan Khan Niazi over their continued failure to appear despite summons. The court adjourned further hearing of the case until November 5.
It may be noted that a case against the PTI leaders is registered at Ramna Police Station.
