Chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council and Secretary-General of the International Tazeem-e-Haramain Sharifain Council, Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, was presented with an honorary shield in recognition of his participation and presentation of a research paper at an international conference organised by the Islamic University of Madinah.

ISLAMABAD, Sep 28 (APP): Chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council and Secretary-General of the International Tazeem-e-Haramain Sharifain Council, Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, was presented with an honorary shield in recognition of his participation and presentation of a research paper at an international conference organised by the Islamic University of Madinah.
The conference was held under the theme, “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Efforts in Confronting Ideological Deviations.”
The honorary shield was presented to Ashrafi by Sheikh Dr. Saad bin Nasser Al-Shathri, Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and a member of Saudi Arabia’s Council of Senior Scholars.
On the occasion, Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais expressed appreciation for Ashrafi’s services to Islam and Muslims and thanked him for his consistent position in support of the security, stability and sanctity of the land of the Two Holy Mosques. He also commended Ashrafi’s stance and contributions in this regard.
Ashrafi expressed gratitude to the Islamic University of Madinah and Saudi scholars for the honour, saying that love for the land of the Two Holy Mosques, safeguarding its peace and stability, and working for the unity of the Muslim Ummah were both a religious and national responsibility.
