PESHAWAR, Apr 21 (APP):Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaider Sunday inaugurated the 11-KV Kotta-Topi Feeder and directed the Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (PESCO) to end un-scheduled load shedding by ensuring due relief to the people specially in the forthcoming Holy month of Ramazan.
He said this while talking to media men during the inauguration ceremony of the 11-KV Feeder in Union Council Kotta, District Swabi which cost of Rs1.50 million. “We have to address the issue of uncalled load shedding to provide relief to the people during the Holy month of Ramzan,” Asad Qaiser added.
He directed the PESCO officials to prepare a comprehensive plan to address the grievances being faced by the people from PESCO. Member Provincial Assembly Haji Rangaz Khan and Tehsil Nazim Sohail Khan Yousafzai and PESCO officials were also present.
Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser also congratulated the inhabitants Kotta and Topi for the completion of a separate 11-KV Feeder and expressed the hope that with a separate feeder it would provide relief to the people on one hands and on the other overcome the low voltage, load management on durable basis.
He said to ensure un-interrupted electricity supply to the consumers, a 40-MVA transformer would also be installed very soon.
He said a committee at local level would also be constituted to prepare suggestion for removing all grievances. He said steps have been taken to upgrade the PESCO System in Swabi only to relief the people.
He said it would also be ensured to change the faulty transformers well before the hot summer. He also directed the PESCO officials to remove all hitches in the work order of Otal Feeder to it would be completed within time. He said all the promises being made with the people during his electioneering campaign would be fulfilled for which all available resources would be utilized.
Earlier, during the big public meeting on the occasion of the inauguration of Kutta-Topi Feeder, the Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaider said that for the first time in the history the government is resolving all problems being faced by the people and ensure development in education, health. He said the construction of Girls College Swabi was a gift for the people of Swabi.
He said the govt of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf completed work on the construction of Baja Bam Khail Sports, District Swabi, much updated hospital to provide all facilities to the people. He expressed the hope that in the next two year time Swabi would be made a modern district and Topi would be a much developed Tehsil.
Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser also inaugurated the provision of gas facilities in Gar Shogai, and Union Council Panj Pir.
