ISLAMABAD, Nov 11 (APP):Around 650 people, including 525 cadets, were present at the time of the attack on the Cadet College Wana, South Waziristan and security forces have so far safely rescued 115 people.
According to sources, the three Afghan Khawarij present in the Cadet College have been confined to a specific building of the college, and security forces have cordoned off the area.
The building in which the Afghan Khawarij are present is located at a considerable distance from the residential buildings of the cadets while all the cadets are safe so far.
Due to the presence of Afghan Khawarij in the college, the operation is being carried out with utmost caution, keeping in mind the safety of the lives of the cadets.
The process of evacuating the cadets from the college premises is gradually underway. At present, about 535 people are still inside the college.
The operation against the three Afghan Khawarij present in the Wana Cadet College is in full swing.
It should be noted that on November 10, Afghan Khawarijs rammed a vehicle loaded with explosives into the main gate of the college.
The main gate of the college was completely demolished in the explosion, while nearby buildings were also damaged.
The soldiers of the Pakistan Army, acting promptly and bravely, killed two Khawarijs on the spot.
The terrorists who attacked innocent tribal children have no connection with Islam, nor with the prosperity of Pakistan.
The security forces’ operation will continue until the terrorists are completely eliminated.
