ISLAMABAD, Jun 11 (APP):The Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme, reporting that 72,000 laptops were distributed on merit during July-March FY2026, while the remaining 28,000 units are expected to be distributed by the end of April.
The Pakistan economic survey 2025-2026 revealed that a total of 600,000 laptops have been distributed since the programme’s inception, helping expand digital access and enabling youth to pursue freelancing, self-employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
The initiative is also contributing to Pakistan’s growing digital economy by equipping young people with the tools needed to participate in the global digital marketplace.
