Aqeel Malik attends German Unity Day reception, calls for stronger Pakistan-Germany ties

ISLAMABAD, Oct 15 (APP): Minister of State for Law and Justice Barrister Aqeel Malik attended a reception hosted by German Ambassador to Pakistan Ina Lepel to mark German Unity Day on Thursday.
The reception commemorated German reunification and highlighted the values of freedom and democracy associated with modern Germany.
On the occasion, Barrister Aqeel Malik extended felicitations to the government and people of Germany and appreciated the longstanding friendly relations between Pakistan and Germany.
He underscored the importance of further strengthening bilateral ties through enhanced cooperation, mutual understanding and engagement in areas of shared interest.
The minister also highlighted the significance of people-to-people exchanges and sustained diplomatic engagement in promoting peace, stability and prosperity.
He expressed confidence that Pakistan-Germany relations would continue to grow, building on the longstanding ties between the two countries and their shared commitment to constructive international cooperation.
