Amir Muqam condoles demise of former AJK president Raja Zulqarnain Khan
ISLAMABAD, Nov 07 (APP):Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON Engineer Amir Muqam on Saturday expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of former Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) president Raja Zulqarnain Khan.
In a statement issued here, the minister paid tribute to the late leader for his national, political and public services, saying his demise was a great loss to the politics of Azad Kashmir and the country.
He extended heartfelt condolences to the deceased’s son, former Kashmir Council member Raja Babar Ali Zulqarnain, and other members of the bereaved family.
Amir Muqam said Raja Zulqarnain Khan’s political insight, leadership qualities and services to the public would be remembered for a long time.
He prayed to Allah Almighty to grant the departed soul eternal peace and a place in Jannah and give the bereaved family courage and patience to bear the loss.
