ISLAMABAD, Oct 10 (APP):Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON, Engineer Amir Muqam on Saturday, expressed deep grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of Shamshad Akhtar, a Director General at the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in a terrorist incident in Tank district.
In a statement issued here, the federal minister extended his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family.
He prayed to Allah Almighty to forgive the deceased, elevate his spiritual rank and grant his family the strength and patience to bear the loss.
Engineer Amir Muqam said Shamshad Akhtar was an honest, dutiful and noble officer whose services would always be remembered.
