Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Engineer Amir Muqam, on Wednesday called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and paid tribute to his efforts for promoting peace in the region amid the prevailing regional situation.

ISLAMABAD, Apr 8 (APP): Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Engineer Amir Muqam, on Wednesday called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and paid tribute to his efforts for promoting peace in the region amid the prevailing regional situation.
During the meeting, the minister also lauded the prime minister’s national austerity measures, stating that despite challenging circumstances, he announced a historic relief package for the public.
The overall political situation in the country, as well as the progress of ongoing development projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also came under discussion, a press release issued by the PM Office said.
