Amir Muqaam accuses PTI chief of misusing KP mandate

PESHAWAR, Nov 16 (APP): PML-N Advisor to Prime the Minister Amir Muqaam has accused the PTI chief Imran Khan of misusing the mandate of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and asked him to either for play a role in the parliament or tender resignation from it.
Addressing a press conference here at Peshawar Press Club (PPC)
Wednesday, he said that 90 percent of the mandate of PTI is given by the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, but, it is not representing them on the national issues.
On this occasion, he was also flanked by former provincial secretary
general PML-N, Rahmat Salam Khattak , Secretary Information, Nasir Khan Musazai and a large number of other party workers.
The federal government respeced the mandate of the PTI, but being misused the interest of the people of the province
He said that in the year 2014, PTI staged a Dharna of 120 days and
created hurdles in the visit of President of the People’s Republic of China and today they are boycotting the parliament on the occasion of the visit of the Turkish President, Recep Tayyib Erdogan.
The central leader of PML-N said that Turkey is of the best friends of
Pakistan and the people of both countries love each other, adding that what kind of message the PTI wants to give to the world by boycotting his address to the parliament. He said that they welcome the Turkish President to Pakistan.
Amir Muqaam said that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa welcome Turkish President, Recep Tayyib Erdogan to Pakistan as the people of both countries have extended support to each other in every critical juncture.
In response to a question, the Advisor to Prime Minister said that work
on Dasu and Basha-Diameer Dams was in full swing. The completion of the projects will generate several thousand megawatt electricity. Similarly, he said that work on Golen Gol Hydel project in Chitral is also in progress.
Regarding Munda Dam, he said work on this multi-purpose dam will also be started and incase of no donor, it will be constructed by our own resources.
