Ambassador of Morocco calls on Defence Production Minister

ISLAMABAD, Oct 23 (APP):Ambassador of Morocco, Mohamed Karmoune Tuesday called on Federal Minister for
Defence Production, Zobaida Jalal here.
The minister besides emphasizing the need to enhance defence cooperation
between the two countries urged for coordinated efforts in the international
arena by both the countries, said a press release issued here.
Both sides agreed to increase the frequency of high-level meetings to
establish more robust contacts and communications.
The minister said both countries needed to learn from each other’s
experiences.
She offered Morocco cooperation in the fields of defence industry,
including naval defence production.
She proposed for joint ministerial setup to look into avenues for defence cooperation.
The minister appreciated Morocco’s humanitarian efforts in many
countries.
She also invited the Ambassador to attend the Ideas 2018 in Karachi.
Both sides agreed to continue cooperation in areas of technical education, tourism and culture.
