Ambassador Faisal Tirmizi, Russian officials reaffirm commitment to enhancing bilateral ties

ISLAMABAD, Jun 30 (APP): Ambassador of Pakistan to the Russian Federation, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi on Tuesday with Andrey Denisov, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, and Vladimir Chizhov, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Defence and Security and Head of the Federation Council Group for Cooperation with the Senate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed matters of mutual interest and explored avenues for further strengthening parliamentary cooperation between Pakistan and Russia, according to a press statement issued here.

The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of both sides to enhancing bilateral relations and promoting dialogue through parliamentary engagement.
