ISLAMABAD, Sep 02 (APP):The newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Pakistan, Han Sungho, called on Minister of State/Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Digital Media Fahd Haroon at his office here on Wednesday.
Fahd Haroon warmly welcomed Han Sungho on assuming his diplomatic responsibilities in Pakistan and conveyed his best wishes for a successful tenure. He expressed confidence that the Ambassador’s tenure would further strengthen the longstanding and cordial relations between Pakistan and the Republic of Korea.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on developments in the fields of media and digital media, evolving global media trends, challenges confronting modern media platforms, and the growing role of digital platforms in public engagement and communication.
Ambassador Han Sungho appreciated Pakistan’s initiatives in the fields of digital media and communications and expressed interest in exploring further opportunities for the exchange of experiences, knowledge and expertise between Pakistan and the Republic of Korea in the fields of digital media, technology and modern communications.
