ISLAMABAD, Sep 03 (APP):Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik Wednesday met with Khaled Al Saati, CEO of Gulf Petroleum Exploration Pakistan (GPXP), and Mosleh Al Otaibi of Gulf Petroleum Exploration to discuss the company’s ongoing operations and prospects for expanding investment in Pakistan’s energy sector.
Gulf Petroleum Exploration Pakistan (GPXP), a Kuwaiti company operating in Pakistan’s exploration sector, expressed keen interest in expanding its investment and further contributing to the country’s energy development.
The Federal Minister welcomed GPXP’s interest and assured the company of the government’s full support and facilitation for its investment and expansion plans.
“Pakistan and Kuwait are brothers, and our two countries share a longstanding relationship,” the Minister said, emphasizing the importance Pakistan attaches to strengthening economic and investment ties with Kuwait.
Khaled Al Saati and Mosleh Al Otaibi expressed gratitude to the Government of Pakistan for its continued support and facilitation. They reiterated GPXP’s commitment to Pakistan and said the company was keen to expand its investment in the country’s energy sector.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment to strengthening Pakistan-Kuwait economic ties and promoting greater investment in Pakistan’s exploration and energy sectors.
