ISLAMABAD, Oct 09 (APP):Federal Minister for Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan on Friday commended two National Highways and Motorway Police personnel for returning more than Rs500,000 to its rightful owners on the Bahawalpur Motorway.
In a message posted on X, the minister praised Sub-Inspector Saddam Hussain and Constable Muhammad Atif for demonstrating honesty, integrity and commitment to duty.
Abdul Aleem Khan said that this commendable act by Motorway Police personnel not only reflects their professionalism and integrity but also serves as an excellent example for other public servants to follow. Such actions enhance the reputation of national institutions and further strengthen public trust in government departments.
The minister said that the Motorway Police holds a distinguished position among public institutions because of its excellent performance, commitment to duty and spirit of public service. He expressed the hope that the Motorway Police would continue to discharge its responsibilities with the same dedication, honesty and sense of responsibility in the future, as well.
Paying tributes to the officers, Abdul Aleem Khan remarked, “Well done! You have made us all proud.” He emphasized that dedication to duty, integrity, and public service are the true hallmarks of outstanding institutions and must be upheld under all circumstances.
