ISLAMABAD, Feb 17 (APP): Federal Minister for Communications and President of Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party Abdul Aleem Khan on Tuesday paid glowing tribute to the Pakistan Army for successfully foiling the terrorist attack on the Bajaur Check Post.
He commended the Army’s professional capabilities and swift response, stating that the brave Armed Forces remain steadfast against terrorists at all times and that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its forces.
In his statement, Abdul Aleem Khan said that security institutions are determined to eradicate the menace of terrorism from its roots and that this struggle will continue until lasting peace is established in the country. He termed the ongoing operations by security agencies against “Fitna al-Hindustan” and “Fitna al-Khawarij” as unavoidable, adding that clearance operations against miscreants are tantamount to a “surgical” strike on terrorists.
In a message posted on the social media platform X, Abdul Aleem Khan praised the timely and effective strategy of the security institutions, stating that suppressing anti-state elements is essential for national security. He paid tribute to the brave soldiers who embraced martyrdom in the incident, calling them heroes of the nation who sacrificed their lives for the homeland and said the entire nation salutes them. Abdul Aleem Khan also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs and the wounded.
