ISLAMABAD, Jun 8 (APP):President of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) Abdul Aleem Khan on Monday congratulated the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on emerging as the largest political party in the Gilgit-Baltistan general elections.
In his congratulatory message, Abdul Aleem Khan stated, the people of Gilgit-Baltistan have high expectations from the new Government and expressed the hope that the PPP, after forming the Government, will effectively address the public’s issues. said a press release.
Encouraging the candidates of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party, Abdul Aleem Khan said that the Party nominees were running a vigorous and dedicated election campaign and deserved appreciation for their efforts. He noted with satisfaction that IPP emerged as the third largest political party in Gilgit-Baltistan in terms of vote share. Abdul Aleem Khan thanked the people of the northern region for placing their trust in the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party and paid tributes to the voters and party workers who worked tirelessly to strengthen the party’s vote bank.
He reaffirmed that IPP would continue to play its role in promoting the development and prosperity of Gilgit-Baltistan.
