ISLAMABAD, Jul 23 (APP):Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan has expressed profound sorrow over the demise of senior politician, PTI-backed MNA and former Governor of the Punjab Mian Muhammad Azhar.
In his condolence message, Abdul Aleem Khan said that Mian Azhar was a noble, dignified and refined individual whose political insight and national services will always be remembered, said a press release issued here on Wednesday.
Praying for the departed soul, Aleem Khan said that “May Allah Almighty grant Mian Muhammad Azhar an exalted place in His eternal mercy and give strength and patience to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.”
Meanwhile, senior leadership of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) also expressed deep sadness over the demise of Mian Muhammad Azhar. IPP’s Secretary General Mian Khalid Mehmood, Central Information Secretary Syed Samsam Bukhari, Punjab President Rana Nazir Ahmad Khan, Provincial Secretary General & MPA Shoaib Siddiqui, President Lahore Malik Zaman Naseeb in their condolence messages paid rich tribute to the political contributions of Mian Muhammad Azhar.
They said that Mian Muhammad Azhar was a towering, principled and respectable statesman. They prayed for his forgiveness and for patience and strength for his family in this difficult time.
