Aleem Khan announces to build guest house for public at Data Darbar

LAHORE, Oct 28 (APP):Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan on Sunday announced to build a guest house for general public outside the Mazar of Hazrat Ali bin Usman Al-Hajveri (RA) popularly known as Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh.
As many as 300 guests could stay at the guest house and all expenses of its construction besides food will be provided by the senior minister.
He said this while visiting the outer premises of the Mazar of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh (RA) where the LDA authorities gave him a detailed briefing.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan had given directions to immediately construct five guest houses in different areas of the city.
Aleem Khan said the guest house would be a gift from the citizens of Lahore for people coming here from different cities.
He said work would be completed within two months and separate arrangements would also be made for ladies. Prime Minister Imran Khan would inaugurate the guest house, he added.
The senior minister directed the LDA authorities to complete other four guests houses also besides providing all possible facilities in them.
Aleem Khan took round of the areas and directed the authorities concerned to immediately remove encroachments around the Mazar and construct a beautiful park there.
DG LDA Amna Imran, the chief engineer and other senior officers were also present in the briefing.
Talking to the media, Aleem Khan asked the opposition to play its democratic role.
Replying a question, he said in the past all ‘thieves’ gathered under the leadership of Nawaz
Sharif and now they were being guided by Asif Ali Zardari.
The senior minister said the present government had taken a good start and in the coming five years all promises would be fulfilled.
On another question, the senior minister said the operation against encroachments was going on in full swing, however, no action would be taken against any katchi abadi or poor person, adding that only mafia grabbing state land for commercial purposes would be made target in the operation.
