He made these remarks while addressing a donation distribution ceremony organized on the occasion of World Thalassemia Day at the National Press Club (NPC) here on Thursday. Addressing the gathering, Muhammad Hameed Khan said that the welfare trust has been serving suffering humanity for the past two decades and has continued its mission with the support of generous donors.
With the cooperation of philanthropists, this mission has expanded steadily and today we are helping to save the lives of millions of children suffering from thalassemia and blood cancer. If this support continues, the welfare trust will carry this mission forward across AJK and Pakistan in the future as well.
He added that Al-Aqsa Welfare Trust remains committed in providing uninterrupted treatment support, blood supplies and medicines free of cost to deserving patients.
