ISLAMABAD, Jul 27 (APP):Coordinator to the Prime Minister on commerce and Industries, Rana Ihsan Afzal Khan said on Monday that the AJK election remained peaceful, urging political leaders to avoid from making unnecessary allegations during the electoral process.
Talking to a private news channel, he said the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) remained an ally of the government and stressed that efforts should be made to maintain a calm political environment.
Responding to a question, he said the overall polling process in AJK remained peaceful, reflecting the democratic spirit. He said political parties should focus on presenting their development agenda to the public in order to earn voters confidence through performance.
He advised the PTI leadership to concentrate on its governance and performance instead of engaging in unnecessary criticism of others.
