AJK democracy strengthened with continuity of electoral process: PM

ISLAMABAD, Aug 16 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif
on Tuesday said the continuity of electoral process in Azad Jammu
and Kashmir had amply strengthened the democratic system.

He was talking to the outgoing AJK President Sardar Muhammad
Yaqoob Khan, who made a farewell call on him here at the PM House.

The Prime Minister appreciated Sardar Yaqoob for amicably
conducting the State affairs during his term of office.

He reiterated his government’s firm resolve to extend its
fullest moral, diplomatic and political support to the indigenous
freedom struggle of Kashmiri people.

The world needs to take stock of the latest brutalities
against unarmed innocent Kashmiri people who are heavily sacrificing
for attainment of their inalienable right to freedom, he said.
