ISLAMABAD, Feb 05 (APP): Airports across the country observed Kashmir Solidarity Day on Thursday in accordance with directives issued by the Headquarters Pakistan Airports Authority (HQPAA), reaffirming Pakistan’s steadfast support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
At Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, and other major airports nationwide, Kashmiri flags, banners, and standees carrying approved solidarity messages were prominently placed both inside terminal buildings and along access roads. The displays were arranged to underscore Pakistan’s continued commitment to the Kashmiri people’s struggle for their right to self-determination.
Airport display screens broadcast documentary videos and Kashmiri songs throughout the day, highlighting the resilience, sacrifices, and decades-long struggle of the Kashmiri population. Pamphlets and informational materials were also distributed among passengers to raise awareness about the significance of the day and the ongoing humanitarian and political challenges faced in the region.
The Pakistan Airports Authority said the coordinated observance across all airports reflects its resolve to stand firmly with the Kashmiri people and to amplify their cause at both national and international forums.
