A comprehensive system for checking status of degrees and certificates has been introduced following the directives of the Vice Chancellor of the varsity.
Vice Chancellor Dr Shahid Siddiqui is taking special interest for providing quality education with technical skills to the students living in less privileged and under developed areas of the country, an official told APP here.
There are nearly 1,300,000 students enrolled with this university who hold aspiration to excel in different academic fields to prepare themselves for competing with the changing world.
A new website dts.aiou.edu.pk has been launched for verification and information about the degrees.
The students applying to get information regarding degrees or other educational certificates can submit an application.
The competent staff is responsible to send the message of acceptance of application back to the students through SMS.
The new system with the facility of aforementioned website would help save precious time of the students.
