ISLAMABAD, Jan 06 (APP):Additional Inspector General (AIG) Operations Muhammad Shoaib Masood on Tuesday held an orderly room to review professional and welfare-related matters of police officers and personnel.
A police spokesperson told APP that during the orderly room, police officers presented their personal and service-related issues, including requests concerning postings, transfers, promotions and other administrative matters.
The spokesperson said that AIG Operations Shoaib Masood listened to the problems attentively and issued appropriate and timely directions on various applications in accordance with rules and merit.
He emphasized that resolving genuine issues of police officers and personnel is essential for improving their morale and professional efficiency, adding that welfare of the force remains a priority.
The AIG Shoaib further directed the concerned branches to ensure prompt follow-up on the orders issued during the orderly room and submit compliance reports within the stipulated timeframe.
He reiterated that maintaining discipline, transparency and merit-based decisions would continue to guide all administrative affairs of Islamabad Police./APP-rzr-mkz
