RAWALPINDI, June 15 (APP):Afghan President Ashraf Ghani Friday called Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and shared news about the killing of Mullah Fazalullah of of terrorist outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in a drone strike in Kunar province of Afghanistan.
“Mullah Fazalullah was hiding inside Afghanistan since 2009. Killing of the TTP commander is a positive development. It gives relief to scores of Pakistani families, who fell victims to TTP terror including the APS massacre,” an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release here said.
Pakistan military leadership had always maintained a cooperative and coordinated approach, which was the best response to the menace of terrorism, it added.
