PESHAWAR, Apr 02 (APP):Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser Tuesday said that a special committee has been constituted to address the issue of affectees of Ghazi Barotha project and soon the affectees would get special package in Annual Development Program.

Addressing a cheque distribution ceremony in Swabi, he said at a cost of Rs 12 billion one 225 KV grid stations would be installed while funds would be allocated for three small grid stations to resolve power crises in the district permanently, said a press release issued here.

He said that at a cost of Rs 1.6 billion gas supply project would be completed in all those areas of the district where gas is yet to be supplied.

He said that a survey for construction of Engineering University in the district has been completed, adding the university would have modern technology, Civil Aviation, Hydel, Maritime departments.

The Speaker further said that one Women and Children hospital is being constructed in Kunda area the district to provide best health facilities to local people.

He said the government was taking measures for uplift of women folk, uplift of agriculture sector and for the purpose the government would provide Rs 110 million interest free loans besides spending Rs 1100 million under poverty alleviation program.

Asad Qaiser said that soon the Prime Minister Imran Khan would inaugurate international standard Rashakai industrial zone that would provide immense opportunities to the local people.
