Administration arrests 31 profiteers

PESHAWAR, Dec 8 (APP): District administration arrested 31 in a crackdown against profiteers in different parts of the city.
According to details, on the directives of Deputy Commissioner (D.C), Peshawar, Riaz Khan Mehsud, Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC), Mahmood Ahmad arrested the proprietor of a toffee unit for unhygienic situation in his factory while an owner of freeze chicken shop was also arrested from Phandu Road and sent to prison.
Similarly, seven profiteers were arrested from Khazana and Mathra and twelve from Hashtnagri while 10 more arrested taken into custody from Kissa Khwani Bazaar.
The arrested profiteers were included butchers, bakers, fresh milk sellers and owners of general stores. The district administration has initiated legal action against the all arrested profiteers.
