ISLAMABAD, Aug 22 (APP): Director General Rangers Sindh
Major General Bilal Akbar Monday said action would be taken
against the elements who had attacked media houses in Karachi.
Talking to a private television, he said Chief of the
Army Staff General Raheel Sharif had directed the Rangers to
restore peace in the metropolitan. city, he said talking to a private news channel.
The Rangers personnel, he said, rushed to trouble spot
using motorcycles and on foot and managed to control the situation. Traffic was also restored in the city, he said.
The DG Rangers said the force would remain alert on Tuesday.
