Acting Senate Chairman, Balochistan minister discuss Economic outlook, provincial development

ISLAMABAD, Jun 02 (APP):Acting Chairman Senate, Syedaal Khan, met with Balochistan’s Provincial Minister for Food, Haji Noor Muhammad Dummar  and discussed the country’s economic situation, public welfare plans, and the development of Balochistan.
During the meeting, Syedaal Khan said the upcoming federal budget would aim to meet public expectations and provide economic relief.
He emphasized that the government is working to present a balanced, people-friendly, and development-focused budget that targets inflation reduction, job creation, and support for underprivileged communities.
He noted that while effective strategies are being adopted to ease the public’s burden, further efforts are required to tackle national challenges and ensure long-term development.
The two leaders also held a detailed discussion on Balochistan’s political, social, and economic conditions.
Syedaal Khan highlighted the province’s importance, pointing out its rich natural resources and key role in Pakistan’s national framework. “Ensuring peace, progress, and prosperity in Balochistan is our shared responsibility,” he said.
He assured that the federal government remains committed to addressing Balochistan’s longstanding issues and will continue supporting efforts for the welfare of its people.
Both leaders agreed on the need to strengthen coordination between the federal and provincial governments to effectively resolve public concerns.
