Acting President, Pir of Luari Sharif discuss role of spiritual traditions in social harmony

ISLAMABAD, Jan 27 (APP):Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday met Pir of Luari Sharif Pir Muhammad Sadiq Qureshi and

discussed the enduring contribution of Sufi traditions to promoting peace, tolerance and cohesion in society.

During the meeting, the acting president said that spiritual leadership has long played a constructive role in strengthening social harmony and encouraging mutual respect across communities, a Presidency’s news release said.

Pir Muhammad Sadiq Qureshi shared his views on the importance of moral values and community welfare. He conveyed his good wishes for the Acting President and expressed prayers for the country’s stability and progress.
