ISLAMABAD, Jan 15 (APP):Acting President, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Thursday appreciated the World Dialogue Forum (WDF)’s role in promoting global dialogue, mutual understanding and international cooperation.
The acting president met president and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the WDF, Ghazanfar Hashmi here at Aiwan-e-Sadr, a Presidency’s news release said.
Ghazanfar Hashmi briefed the acting president on the aims and activities of the World Dialogue Forum and informed him that its fourth annual international conference will be held in Washington, DC, in April this year.
He said the conference would focus on parliamentary cooperation, trade, economic linkages and broader bilateral relations between Pakistan and the United States, and extended an invitation to the Acting President to attend.
