ISLAMABAD, Aug 04 (APP):Federal Minister for Railways, Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, on Tuesday paid glowing tribute to police martyrs on Police Martyrs’ Day, saying their sacrifices for the protection of the country would always be remembered.
In a message, the minister said the brave sons of the nation had rendered invaluable sacrifices in the fight against terrorism and crime, making the entire nation proud through their professionalism, courage and unwavering commitment to duty.
He said police personnel across the country, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, had made unparalleled sacrifices for the establishment of peace and the maintenance of law and order.
Hanif Abbasi also expressed solidarity with the families of the fallen police personnel, saying their sacrifices were a shared national asset and deserved the highest respect and recognition.
The minister emphasized that a strong, modern and professionally equipped police force was essential for ensuring lasting peace and the effective enforcement of law.
