ISLAMABAD, Mar 14 (APP): Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi has paid tribute to the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for conducting a successful operation against militants in the area of Lakki Marwat.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the minister commended the bravery and professionalism of the CTD personnel, saying that the security forces carried out a successful operation against militants in which six terrorists were killed.
He said the courage and dedication shown by the CTD of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the fight against terrorism were highly commendable.
“The entire nation is proud of its brave security personnel who are making immense sacrifices to ensure peace and stability in the country,” he added.
Hanif Abbasi emphasized that the struggle against terrorism would continue until its complete eradication.
He reiterated that the people of Pakistan stand firmly with their security forces in the ongoing fight against militancy.
The minister also lauded the professionalism of the law enforcement agencies and expressed confidence that such successful operations would further strengthen national efforts to eliminate terrorism.
