ISLAMABAD, Oct 15 (APP): Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi on Thursday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious human lives in the collapse of a school building in Peshawar.
In a statement, the minister termed the deaths of innocent children and a female teacher in the tragic incident deeply distressing and heartbreaking.
He prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the deceased in the hereafter and offered his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, praying for patience and strength for them to bear the irreparable loss.
Hanif Abbasi also prayed for the speedy and complete recovery of the children and other people injured in the incident.
He stressed that those responsible for putting the lives of innocent children at risk should not be spared, urging the authorities to determine responsibility and award strict punishment to the culprits in accordance with the law.
