8.1 magnitude earthquake jolts KP, Fata

PESHAWAR, Oct 26 (APP): A powerful earthquake measuring 8.1 magnitude
on the Richter scale rocked most parts of Khyber Pakthunkhwa and Fata here on Monday afternoon.
According to local Met Office, the magnitude of the earthquake
on the Richter scale was 8.1 and its epicenter was in the Hindu Kush Range
at a depth of 193 km.
Soon after the tremor at Peshawar, the people came out from thier
homes and recited verses of Holy Quran and Durood Sharif, seeking mercy from Allah Almighty.
