ISLAMABAD, Jun 3 (APP):Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain Monday said 66 sites of the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) would be open for the public to view Shawal moon on Tuesday evening.
The minister, in a tweet, said,“Some facilities are very modern others are basic but we will make sure this time people themselves see moon and trust science and modern technology more than few individuals.”
The PMD moon sighting sites include Karachi, Peshawar, Lahore, Quetta, Gwadar, Muzaffarabad, Hyderabad, Larkana, Lasbella, Kasur, Murree, Jhelum, Skardu, Gilgit and others.
