602 persons trained in two weeks to promote safety culture

ISLAMABAD, Mar 18 (APP):Ministry of Interior has organized different courses in its ten federal and provincial institutions and imparted training to 602 persons during last two weeks to help promote safety culture in the country.
The first course – Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) was arranged in Federal Civil Defence Academy, Lahore in which 22 persons were trained.
As per details issued here on Monday, the second course
was arranged at National Institute of Fire Technology, Islamabad
where 47 participants were trained in Station Fire Officer
Course while in another course, conducted at educational institutions, 12 participants were imparted training.
Around 79 participants were trained in two courses at
Bomb Disposal Unit Lahore. Of the total 46 were trained in
Bomb Disposal course while 33 were trained in Improvised Explosive
Devices Technique course.
Similarly, Federal Civil Defence Training School, Lahore trained 23 as Civil Defence Specialist Instructor (Rescue Service) while 13 participants were trained in Fire Prevention and Safety Course.
Federal Civil Defence Training School, Karachi has
conducted two courses in which 100 participants were trained in
two different courses including Civil Defence Specialist Instructor
(Rescue Service) and Fire Prevention and Safety.
Federal Civil Defence Training School, Peshawar
conducted two courses which were attended by 76 participants. They
were trained in Civil Defence Specialist instructor
(Rescue Service) and Fire Prevention and Safety.
Moreover, Federal Civil Defence Training School,
Quetta trained 15 participants as Civil Defence Specialist Instructor (Rescue Service).
Federal Civil Defence Training School, Faisalabad
also imparted training to 51 participants in two courses.
Course for ladies was arranged at Federal Civil Defence
Training School, Muzaffarabad where 15 of them were trained in
Domestic Emergency and Prevention.
Federal Civil Defence Training School, Abbottabad
also arranged two courses in Fire Prevention and Civil Defence
which were attended by 29 participants.
Similarly, outdoor trainings at Parliament Lodges
and Directorate General Civil Defence, Islamabad were also
arranged.
