4 additional booths made functional at Hakla toll plaza of M-14

D.I.KHAN, Jul 19 (APP): The authorities concerned of National Highways Authority (NHA), Frontier Works Organization (FWO) and Motorway Police have made four additional booths functional at Hakla toll plaza of motorway (M-14) within the two days of taking notice by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of traffic rush at the toll plaza.

Federal Minister for Communications and Postal Services Mufti Asad Mahmood paid a visit to the Hakla-D.I.Khan motorway on Tuesday.

During his visit, the minister was accompanied by Chairman NHA Capt (Retd) Muhammad Khurram Agha and other officials of the authorities concerned.

The NHA chairman briefed the minister about the implementation over the instructions of the prime minister.

It is worth mentioning here that the prime minister had taken notice of traffic rush on the Hakla toll plaza at motorway and directed to increase the number of toll booths at the toll plaza.

The federal minister appreciated NHA, Motorway Police and FWO officials for immediately setting up additional booths.

As soon as the tag system is activated, the traffic will continue to flow smoothly on all motorways across the country, said the federal minister.

He said the special measures were being taken to keep the traffic flow uninterrupted and to remove all kinds of difficulties faced by the people traveling on the motorways.
