34,000 Pakistani pilgrims return home after performing Hajj

ISLAMABAD, Jun 8 (APP):The post-Hajj return operation for Pakistani pilgrims is underway, with 34,000 pilgrims having returned to Pakistan from Saudi Arabia so far.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, 84,791 Pakistani pilgrims are still in Saudi Arabia, while return flights continue as scheduled.
Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf is expected to return home on Sunday.
Meanwhile, 250 Hajj support staff (Khuddam-ul-Hujjaj) have also returned to Pakistan after completing their duties.
To help pilgrims avoid congestion at airports, a city check-in facility for baggage boarding is being provided at their residences.
Pilgrims have been advised to keep their luggage ready according to the designated schedule to avoid inconvenience.
The ministry said the baggage boarding process is being completed 24 to 48 hours before departure flights.
Under the post-Hajj operation, more than 15,000 pilgrims have so far completed visits to Riyaz-ul-Jannah.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the post-Hajj flight operation will continue until June 30.
