33000 kanal land at two villages vacated in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD, Oct 05 (APP):Minister of State for Interior Sheheryar Afridi on Friday
informed the Senate that 33000 kanal occupied government land has been vacated
in two `Mozas’ of Islamabad and 12000 kanal land from Bahrai Enclave.
It was stated by him while responding to a Calling Attention
Notice regarding anti-encroachment operation conducted by CDA in Karachi
Company.
The minister said there were 48 marquees established in sector G-12 while
10 kanal plot has been also vacated near Centaurus Mall. He said that lands were distributed
in illegal manner in past and ultimate victim of this nepotism was the poor man.
State Minister for Interior said that he had a dynamic team and all grievances of the
poor would be addressed. No discrimination would be made with anyone, he maintained.
