ISLAMABAD, Dec 7 (APP): Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz Monday informed the National Assembly that total 33 non-diplomatic visas had been issued to the US embassy/consulate personnel since 2013.
During the Question Hour, he said the visas were issued to technicians and workers for a period of three months and the personnel left the country after completing their work in their embassy or consulates.Replying to a question, he said as many as 386 United States diplomats were working in Pakistan, while 34 Pakistani diplomats were performing
their duties at the country’s embassy and consulates in the US.
To another question, the Adviser said there was no Pakistani prisoner in Syria and the reports about the involvement of Pakistanis in armed activities were mere rumours.
