RAWALPINDI, Mar 09 (APP):Three more terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire during the follow-up sanitization of the Datta Khel general area of North Waziristan by the security forces on Thursday, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) news release said.
The security forces on Wednesday carried out an intelligence based operation (IBO) in Datta Khel during which six terrorists were killed.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the terrorists, who remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and civilians, ISPR added.
Locals of the area appreciated the security forces’ response and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the area.
