ISLAMABAD, Oct 9 (APP): Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib on Saturday highlighted the incumbent government’s remarkable policies and facilities to the exporters which resulted into persistent growth of the textile exports during the first quarter of fiscal year 2021-22.
“Thanks to the government’s best exports policies and facilities, textile exports in the first quarter stood at 4.437 billion dollars which is an increase of 28 per cent. With an increase of 26 per cent in September, textile exports are [amounted to] 1.503 billion dollars,” the minister tweeted.
The increase in textile exports would not only augment foreign exchange, but also stabilize the economy.
